Back in 2006, my character workshop was still in the lecture theory phase. I was definitely on to something and I was telling as many people as I possibly could about the technique. At the time Rachael Mason was head of education at the iO Theater and she gave me the opportunity to teach my technique to students who were doing summer intensives at the theater. One of those students was American writer and comedian, Baratunde Thurston.
